Job Description:

The Patient Care Assistant/Tech in the Intensive Care Unit will provide essential support to the nursing staff by assisting with patient care duties, maintaining a safe environment, and facilitating communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care activities under the direction of the nursing staff.
• Float to medical surgical units, ICU, and emergency room as required.
• Work weekend shifts as scheduled, on an every other weekend basis.
• Fulfill holiday shift obligations as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS & CNA Certification required.
• EPIC Experience required.
• Willingness to float to various units as needed.
