Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in travel assignments and Level 1 Trauma centers, with a strong emphasis on skill proficiency and prior experience in burn care preferred.

Shift Details

This position requires a shift from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM and may involve on-call duties during weekends and holidays. Please note that there is no block scheduling available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Handle surgical instruments and materials safely and efficiently during procedures.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and providing assistance during operations.
• Participate in patient care by providing high-quality support and communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility is required.
• Burn care experience is preferred.
• High rating on demonstrated skills set in surgical technology.
• Ability to adapt to various surgical teams and procedures effectively.
