Job Overview

This position requires candidates with specific experience in neuro and spine procedures. The role involves working in an operating room environment, contributing to surgical operations in a collaborative healthcare team.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Days: 8-hour days

Unit Information

• Location: Operating Room, City, State
• Number of Operating Rooms: 10
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Altera

Responsibilities

As a Travel or Scrub Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in various surgical procedures, particularly in orthopedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, and basic neuro surgeries.
• Maintaining sterile environments and ensuring all equipment and instruments are available and functioning.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow during surgeries.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in scrub tech roles, specifically with neuro and spine experience.
• Required Skills: Proficient in orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, and urology.
• Preferred Experience: Neuro experience for call coverage.
• Certifications: ACLS certification required for RNs.

Additional Information

• Assigned call during weekdays and occasional overnight shifts on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Holidays on an as-needed basis.
