Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic team. This position is located in a busy operating room setting where you will provide critical assistance during surgical procedures.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Operating Room
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: To be determined
• Type of Equipment: DaVinci Robotics
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech / CPN

Typical Procedures Performed

• Total joints and spine surgeries
• Transplants (kidney/liver)
• Robotic surgeries
• Vascular procedures
• ENT surgeries
• Plastic surgeries

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital CST experience
• Active NBSTA and DORA certifications
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transplant experience
• Experience in spine surgeries
• Prior experience with Meditech

Unit Guidelines

• No set schedules; staff will schedule their shifts after initial assignment
• Weekend on-call is required, typically consisting of 8-12 calls over an 8-week period
• 30-minute response time required when on-call
