Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of five years of experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in scrubbing for pediatric surgeries, specifically in at least two surgical service lines, including ENT and orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during pediatric surgical procedures by providing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with nursing and surgical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Current licensure in the state of Washington.
• Proven expertise in scrubbing at least two pediatric surgical specialties, ideally ENT and orthopedics.

Work Schedule

Shift times are from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Weekend rotation and holiday work are optional.

Additional Information

• Scrub colors will be provided.
• No floating to other departments is required.
• Optional on-call responsibilities may be available.
