Surgical Technician

Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts available (Days/Evenings/Nights), with the option to accommodate 48 hours per week.

Job Duties

The Operating Room (OR) serves a diverse patient population across various specialties, including:

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Plastics
• Urology
• Cardiac
• Neuro
• Vascular
• Ophthalmic
• Gynecology (GYN)
• Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
• Thoracic
• Oral-Maxillofacial
• Trauma (Level 1 Trauma Center)

The facility is equipped with two Davinci robotic surgical systems utilized across multiple services. Notably, the transplant program includes procedures for liver, kidney, and heart transplants.

Job Requirements

• NBSTSA Certification or ten (10) years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• A minimum of two (2) years of operating room experience required
• Experience within a Level 1 trauma center is preferred
• Ability to scrub for surgical procedures

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is required
