Surgical Technician

Schedule

Rotating shifts available with 12-hour shifts for day, evening, and night. Flexibility to accommodate 48 hours per week.

Job Duties

The Operating Room (OR) provides care for a diverse range of patients, covering specialties such as:

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Plastics
• Urology
• Cardiac
• Neuro
• Vascular
• Ophthalmic
• Gynecology (GYN)
• Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
• Thoracic
• Oral-Maxillofacial
• Trauma (Level 1 Trauma Center)

Additionally, the OR utilizes two Da Vinci robotic systems across multiple surgical specializations. The transplant program includes liver, kidney, and heart transplants.

Job Requirements

• NBSTSA Certification or a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician.
• At least two (2) years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred.
• Ability to scrub for surgical procedures.

Certification

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
