Social Worker (Allied)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and services to patients within an acute hospital environment.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Location

Position available in the northern region with no local candidates within 50 miles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and resources.
• Document patient interactions and progress accurately.
• Comply with all relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a social work specialty, particularly within an acute hospital setting.
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, Georgia LCSW.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Holiday Expectations

The selected candidate must be available to work during the following holidays:

• 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
• 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve
