Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Schedule

This position requires availability to work from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend commitment. The contract length is for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and home care needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay updated on advancements in respiratory therapy techniques and technology.

Qualifications

• Current certification and/or licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Location

This position is located in a healthcare facility in the vicinity of the city and state.
