Job Title: Respiratory Therapist NICU

Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist will work with both NICU and adult populations, providing general and critical care, as well as specialized procedures in the NICU such as Nitric Oxide administration and ground transports.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy to NICU and adult patients.
• Perform ground transports and administer Nitric Oxide in the NICU.
• Work independently in a level 3 NICU setting during night shifts.

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred, but will consider Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least 2 years of NICU experience.
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP for NICU; ACLS/APLS preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems Cerner and equipment such as PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500 ventilators.
• Ability to handle varying patient ratios depending on staffing.
