Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 350
• Number of Staff: 38
• Staff Composition:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge Respiratory Therapist and 5 staff
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge Respiratory Therapist and 5 staff
• Patient Ratios: Variable
• Type of Equipment: Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, Vyair Avea
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

• Perform ventilator and airway management
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology for patient care
• Ensure a high standard of patient experience and care delivery

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech
• Pediatrics, NICU, or PICU experience
