Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our respiratory services team. The ideal candidate should have a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 854
• Number of Staff: 120
• Patient Ratios: 10 – 25
• Type of Equipment: GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices.
• EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments based on the physician’s orders.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapy and adjust as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required:
• North Carolina Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Preferred:
• NRP certification

Work Schedule

Varying weekend shifts required (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).
