Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am

Position Overview

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care in a Level III NICU and Women’s Center setting. This role requires specialized knowledge and skills to ensure the health and well-being of patients, particularly in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level III NICU/Women’s Center setting.
• Current certifications:
• BLS – Basic Life Support or equivalent
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support or equivalent
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support or equivalent
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program or equivalent
• NBRC-RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist
• RCP – Respiratory Care Practitioner

• Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
