Staffing Details

• Day Shift: 15-20 RRTs for Adult services; 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric services
• Night Shift: 12-16 RRTs for Adult services; 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric services

Patient Ratios

10 – 25 patients per RRT

• GE R860 Adult ventilators
• Draeger Infant/Pediatric ventilators
• Newport HT70 transport ventilator
• V60 Non-invasive devices
• Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices

Qualifications

Required Certifications

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Various respiratory procedures relevant to both adult and pediatric populations.

Personality Fit

Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Floating Areas

Must be willing to float to all critical care units and floors as needed.

Weekend Requirements

Must be available to work varying weekends, with at least 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
