Respiratory Therapist Tech

Shift Information

Day Shift: 0630-1900, Three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), No guaranteed hours.

Contract Duration

15 Week Contract

Minimum Experience

2 years of experience required.

Certifications and Requirements

• General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS
• Respiratory Certifications: RRT
• State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license is required; candidates not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance of the offer.

Vaccination Requirement

Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption will be required before the contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management.
• Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Consult with physicians and perform CPR.
• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care.

Equipment Utilized

• Computerized charting
• Pyxis medication management
• PB 980 and PB 840 Ventilators
• V60 Ventilator
• Para Pac Transport Vent

Patient Care Requirements

The candidate must be able to care for patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
