Respiratory Therapist Tech

Shift Information

Night Shift (1830 to 0700 am), Three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), No guarantee of hours.

Minimum Experience Required

2 years of experience in a relevant field.

Certifications and Requirements

• Must hold a Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License by the start of the assignment.
• General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS.
• Respiratory Certification: RRT preferred.
• NRP preferred.
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for a medical or religious exception is required prior to contract start date.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist Tech will be responsible for providing continuous airway management and support, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management. Responsibilities will include physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.

• Computerized charting
• Pyxis medication management
• PB 980 and PB 840 Ventilators
• V60
• Para Pac Transport Vent

Patient Population

Must be capable of caring for patients in adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Contract Details

This position requires coverage during holidays. The contract duration is 15 weeks with no guarantee of hours.
