Registered Respiratory Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care and perform diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and levels of acuity, including Level 2 NICU. The position will require working 3 12-hour night shifts with rotating call and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients.
• Provide care for patients in critical conditions, including neonatal and pediatric populations.
• Monitor, maintain, and adjust ventilator settings as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Must hold a valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in critical care and ventilator support is required.
• Neonatal and pediatric experience, particularly in Level 2 NICU settings, is necessary.

Flu vaccination is mandatory from October 1st through April 1st, with no declinations accepted.
