Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and be dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with various respiratory procedures including arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, nebulizer treatments, and intubation support.
  • Administer respiratory care and therapies to patients of all ages, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize medical documentation systems efficiently to maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, specifically in intensive care and NICU settings.
  • Valid RRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) competently.
  • Experience with Servo I ventilators and I-Stat devices is preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in performing a variety of respiratory treatments and assessments.

  • Required to wear black scrubs.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance; hair must be neatly groomed and not in extreme styles or colors.
