Respiratory Therapist

General Information

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The position is located in Richmond, VA, at a facility with a total of 430 beds.

Unit Information

• Number of Staff: 25
• Patient Ratios: Normal floor assignment is 20-25 treatments per round
• Type of Equipment: Oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, blood gas machines
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• Nebulizers
• BIPAP/CPAP
• Ventilators
• Arterial Blood Gases

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current Virginia State License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Work Schedule

• Rotating weekends
• Available for one 24-hour call shift every 5-6 weeks
