GI Lab Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled GI Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specifically within the GI Lab.

Schedule

This position requires work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with intermittent weeknight and weekend on-call shifts as needed. Additionally, candidates must be available to work during holidays.

Holiday Expectations

• MUST work 2 major holidays out of the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
• Additionally, candidates are required to work 1 minor holiday from the following selection: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a GI Lab setting
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• SGNA certification required

Key Responsibilities

The GI Lab Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures including:

• Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• SPYGLASS procedures
• Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS)
• Navigation bronchoscopy
