Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech Operating Room

City/State: Skokie, Illinois

Shift: 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00

Job Description:

Certified Surgical Tech responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures, focusing primarily on orthopedic/spine operations in a busy 20-bed OR setting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary equipment.
Assist surgeons with procedures, including general surgeries and specialized areas such as hand, foot/ankle, sports medicine, total joint-robotics, and spine ortho.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.
Be available for on-call duties and rotation during weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a CST or Surgical Tech, with expertise in operating room procedures and robotics.
Ability to be within 30 minutes of the hospital due to call requirements.
NBSTSA certification (certification not required) and BLS certification.
No acceptance of new graduates for this position.
