Job Title: Surgical Tech, Allied, CST

Shift: 8H Days 5X8s OR 4X10’s days plus call

Job Description:

The Surgical Tech will be responsible for assisting in a variety of surgical procedures with a strong focus on neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, and general OR duties. The candidate must be competent in independently performing cranial procedures and have experience with total joint and level II trauma cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform independently in cranial procedures and assist in orthopedic trauma cases
• Participate in neuro-trauma call and respond within 15 minutes
• Maintain compliance with the fingernail policy by avoiding artificial nails
• Utilize equipment such as Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
• Rotate to assist in other departments as needed when the OR is not busy

Requirements:

• Must have orthopedic trauma experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, not required
• BLS Certification
• Able to scrub independently in various surgical procedures
• Experience with EPIC charting system
