First Assistant – Operating Room/Vascular

Position Overview

This position is for a First Assistant in the Operating Room with a focus on Vascular procedures. The role requires collaboration with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care during surgical interventions.

Schedule

Standard working hours are from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols, particularly in vascular surgery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures as a first assistant.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes during surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
