Location: Richmond, VA

General Information:

• Number of Beds: 16 Operating Rooms
• Staffing: One team of RN, Surgical Assistant (SA), and Surgical Technologist per operating room on day shift, with evening support tapering.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Includes robotics, neurosurgery, general surgery, plastics, urology, and orthopedic tools.
• EMR System: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Essential Skill Set:

• Robotic surgery experience
• Orthopedic experience
• Neurosurgery/Spine experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in procedures other than transplant and cardiac surgery

Personality Fit:

• Team player with strong collaboration skills

Required Certifications:

• Current Virginia Nursing License

Floating Areas:

• None

Work Schedule

Weekends and call rotation average 2 shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend primary and backup coverage.

Dress Code

Hospital-provided scrubs are required.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
