Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech – CVOR

Job Description:

Seeking a Certified Surgical Tech with a strong CVOR background to provide surgical care for cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, including CABG, TAVR, and valve replacements. Must be able to work independently and effectively in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardio and thoracic surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Work collaboratively with a team of RNs, first assists, and other surgical techs in the operating room.
• Float to Main OR as necessary.
• Ensure all surgical equipment is prepared and operational, maintaining sterile conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including overnight and weekend shifts.

Requirements:

• 2 years of CVOR experience; Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required; CST certification preferred.
• Associate Degree in a Healthcare-related field or CST certification.
• Experience with EPIC charting system, Omnicell, and Alaris equipment.
• Ability to circulate only, no scrub.
