CVOR Technologist

Unit Information

Location: Wichita, KS

• Number of Beds: 2 heart rooms with a possible 3rd
• Staffing: 4 RN, 3 CST
• Day Shift: 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST
• Night Shift: On-call only
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: EMR – Meditech / CPN

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
• BLS certification
• NBSTA Certification
• Current active licensure in Kansas
• Must be vascular trained

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS certification
• Experience in Open Heart and Cardiovascular procedures
• Prior Meditech experience

Typical Procedures

• CABG
• AVR
• MVR
• TAVR

• Confident and a strong team player
• Positive attitude with a focus on patient experience
• Effective communication with staff and providers

Unit Guidelines

On-call is required: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.
