Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This position requires a strong background in a surgical environment and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

• Number of Operating Rooms: 6
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: As needed

Shift Details

• Shift/Workdays: Variable – with call requirements
• Weekend Work: Discuss during the interview
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in a related specialty
• Current BLS certification
• Active Texas CST License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system

Unit Policies and Guidelines

• Dress Code:
  • Scrub Color: Navy blue scrubs
  • Nail Policy: Must be clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen enhancements
  • Hair: Must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; should be pulled back if shoulder-length or longer
  • Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
  • Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Attendance Policy: The company-wide attendance policy will be followed.
