Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech)

Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech) is responsible for assisting in cardiovascular operating room procedures including setup, scrubbing, and turnover of rooms. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team to ensure effective and efficient patient care and may involve working with complex medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in cardiovascular procedures such as open heart surgeries, CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, and vascular procedures
Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for procedures
Set up and operate equipment including Belmont, ESU, and cell saver
Coordinate with the surgical team for room turnover and disposables management

Requirements:

Teamwork and excellent communication skills
Proficiency in sterile techniques and central line setup
Certification: BLS required; CNOR preferred
Experience with scrub or circulate procedures and surgical instrument preparation
