Job Description:

Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia including preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment, working under limited direct supervision. Provide support in surgical cases and ensure that equipment is in good working order. Assist with training programs and perform troubleshooting for anesthesia setup and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care and preparation of anesthesia equipment.
• Operate and maintain specialized anesthesia equipment and provide on-call coverage.
• Ensure anesthesia equipment is in working order and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support training programs and staff development in anesthesia technology.
• Set up and troubleshoot various anesthesia equipment and monitors.
• Provide setup for anesthesia care in and out of operating room procedures.
• Backup shift supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BLS certification.
• Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech.
