Pharmacist

Job Summary

The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes and support patient health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Review and interpret physician prescriptions to identify potential drug interactions or contraindications.
• Provide medication counseling to patients and answer any related questions.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in the development of patient care plans and medication therapy management.
• Educate healthcare staff and patients about medication use and best practices.
• Comply with all federal and state regulations as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
