Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary

A dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist is needed to join our team. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Perform medication counseling for patients and healthcare providers.
• Monitor medication therapy and provide recommendations for adjustments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Schedule

This position requires 13-hour shifts with options for day and night shifts. Weekend and holiday rotations are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate in Pharmacy.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year in a pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse, is preferred.
• Current vaccination requirements include Flu and MMR.

Compensation and Benefits

• Relocation allowance available based on distance moved.
• Sign-on bonus available, with gross-up options to cover taxes.
