• Shifts: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM
• Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 463
• Documentation System: Meditech Expanse, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, C2 safe
• Advanced Equipment: IV verification, Medication verification, IV compounding

Patient Care Responsibilities

As a Travel Pharmacist, you will handle various medication management tasks including:

• IV verification and medication verification
• IV compounding as needed

Qualifications

• Virginia State Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience
• Experience with complex cases such as trauma, burn, and critical care

Skills Required

• Experience with Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz
• Advanced skills including:
• Vancomycin AUC dosing
• Aminoglycoside dosing
• Renal dosing
• Warfarin management
• Enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, DOAC
